Services

Using natural and studio light photography, it is my aim to capture beautiful images of your baby. When you book your session with me, I devote considerable time and energy into achieving this. Newborn sessions are very intensive and require planning to ensure that everything goes smoothly. Photographing your baby is only half the process needed to achieve the unique, custom look that you desire. The other half of the process involves careful and thoughtful post-editing to render beautiful images of your baby.

FAQs

How far in advance should I schedule a session?

Sessions can be scheduled anytime.  But, it's best to be scheduled 2-3 months before your due date. That way, I can fully customize your baby's photo session and shop for more items if needed.  If you are still in the very early stages of pregnancy, it is highly advised to schedule as soon as you know your due date.

The non-refundable retainer fee (50% of session fee) is due before I schedule you. After payment, we can discuss themes, colors, props, etc.  Final details of the session will be sent to you a week before your due date. After your baby is born, we will set up a convenient day and time to photograph your baby, preferably within 10 days.

What is the best age to have my baby photographed?

4-10 days are the best ages to photograph your baby, as he or she is still in a very sleepy state. Your baby will be my guide in how the session proceeds. Newborns 3 weeks and under will only be accepted.

Should I bring any clothing? Can I bring some favorite items?

My style of newborn photography is to photograph them in their "birthday suit" (nude!), so clothing is not necessary. You may bring some items (headbands, ribbons, parent's military dog tags, etc.) to the session and I will do my best to work them in.

Do you photograph on-location?

I have an in-home studio ready for you and your baby.

Where are you located?

I am located in Corpus Christi, Texas and also serve the surrounding areas.

Do you sell a copyright release?

No. If you decide to purchase digital images, a print release will be provided.

When will my photos be ready?

I will post a sneak peek of 1-2 images within a week of the photo shoot. 2-3 weeks after your session, 9-12 images will be presented to you in a password-protected gallery.

I'm ready to book!  How do I do that?
